Grayton Beach on Scenic Highway 30A is a laid back historic town in the Beaches of South Walton. Located between Destin and Panama City Beach, Grayton Beach was the first community established in the area. It's home to a designated Blue Wave Beach and the 400-acre Grayton Beach State Park.
Grayton Beach is known for its quaint historic cottages, picket fences, old oak trees, funky art and some of the best dining on Scenic 30A. Grayton Beach was founded in 1890 and was named after Army Major Charles T. Gray who built his homestead here in 1885.
Grayton Beach’s unofficial slogan: “nice dogs strange people”.
